Essential Functions:

  • Ensure a clean and sanitary operational room for the processing of fruit and vegetables in accordance with company and government standards.
  • Ensure that the product in the containers match the label on the container, date codes and outgoing packing/barcode is correct.
  • Ensure the processing room is ready for production thirty minutes prior to the beginning of the day.
  • Barrels containing chilled water with Peracetic Acid placement.
  • Chemicals added to the main flume system, potato line, Apple line and fruit tanks and Prep Barrels as needed.
  • Metal detection machines validated at the start of shift and throughout production.
  • Hand and knife dip stations filled with sanitizer with verification of chemical strength.
  • Ensure all Products are to be run through metal detection machines at every product change metal detector validation and verification and must be completed and documented.
  • Ensure all items run according to product sequence chart.
  • Ensure all incoming raw products are checked prior to processing to meet approved specifications and check off sheet completed.

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Speak and write English satisfactorily.
  • At least 2 years of recent and successful experience performing the above functions in a significant manufacturing or warehouse / distribution environment. Prefer that such experience is in the food industry.

 Work Schedule:

  • Monday – Saturday
  • Training Period - 7:00am – 3:30pm
  • After Training Period – 9:00am - finish

 Physical Demands:

  • Stand or walk for long periods of time
  • Work in cold and wet cooler conditions for extended periods of time
  • Repetitive bending and use of arms, legs etc.
  • Ability to lift 25 lbs
