Business Development Manager

Get Fresh Produce has been providing fresh produce and other products to restaurants and other end-users in the Chicago area since 1982. We are currently seeking applications for the position of Business Development Manager at our main location in Bartlett, IL. As a Business Development Manager, your main responsibilities will include securing leads, generating new revenue, mentoring sales executives, and partnering with the Chief Revenue Officer to establish relationships and connections in the market.

Essential Functions:

  • Generate Sales Leads
  • Represent Get Fresh at Networking Events and Trade Shows
  • Prospect new customers and opportunities.
  • Expand revenue opportunities within existing customers.
  • Keep up-to-date knowledge of the competitive landscape.
  • Visit customers and build key relationships.
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of products.
  • Other role-specific duties as assigned.
  • Maintain your CRM regularly.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent telephone etiquette, written and verbal communication skills
  • Relationship-building skills
  • Highly organized and high attention to detail
  • Minimum 10+ years of related experience preferably in Sales, preferably foodservice
  • Candidate must pass a pre-hire drug screen
  • Able to speak and write fluently in English
  • Bi-lingual is preferred

Work Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday with a Saturday rotation
  • Holidays are Mandatory
  • Chicago, IL location, this is an in-person position

Compensation:

  • $60,000-$80,000 based on experience
  • Monthly Commission Program
