Contract Compliance Manager

 Essential Functions:

  • Act as a point of contact for customers, clients, partners, and internal employees.
  • Maintain records of contracts with particular focus on monitoring continual compliance.
  • Identify problem areas when it comes to fulfilling compliance standards and help develop recommendations to improve organizational procedures.
  • Maintain regular communication cadence with General Counsel about relevant contracts.
  • Communicate and present information to stakeholders about all contract-related matters.
  • Monitor contracts and work with General Counsel on termination, extension, or renewal as directed by the applicable business leaders.
  • Support the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to intercompany transactions, fixed assets, general ledger, taxes, and treasury reporting.
  • Reconcile multiple customer accounts and vendor statements daily, ensuring that all transactions are accounted for and accurate.
  • Assist with the development of staff by managing performance, setting goals, providing ongoing training, and maintaining strong employee relationships.

 Competencies, Education, and Experience:

  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and to identify business process improvements.
  • Strong analytical skills demonstrated in either financial or wholesale distribution industry
  • Must be able to operate under a degree of autonomy
  • Ability to keep information confidential
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting and at least 5 years of successful experience in health care, wholesale distribution, or corporate accounting performing most of the above duties.
  • Excellent knowledge and experience in accounting and financial processes (budgeting, financial closure, reporting etc.) and/or contract compliance background required.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office (especially excel) and experience with advanced accounting ERP systems and accounting software (e.g., Produce Pro)
  • Successful experience leading within/across a cross-functional team.

Compensation:

  • $80,000 - $110,000/Year with 10% bonus

 Physical Demands:

  • Stand or sit for long periods of time
  • Work in cold or wet cooler conditions for extended periods of time
  • Travel as needed (40%)
