Customer Service Supervisor

Get Fresh Produce has been in business since 1982, providing fresh produce and other products to restaurants and other end users in the Chicago area. We are currently accepting applications for a Dispatch Specialist to work at our Bartlett, IL, main location. As a member of the Customer Service team, you are the first person our customers interact with when they call, email, or send an order to us.  As a member of the customer service team, you will provide our customers with the best-in-class service they have come to expect from Get Fresh Produce.  We are looking for someone who is outgoing, self-motivated, and possesses excellent people skills.  

 Essential Functions:

  • Educate CSRs on new lines and upsell opportunities, write scripts for holidays
  • Manage the compilation of the “short list” on a daily basis
  • Supervise and support a team of customer service representatives
  • Monitor and evaluate team performance, providing coaching and feedback as needed
  • Handle escalated customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner
  • Develop and implement customer service policies and procedures
  • Schedule and manage team shifts to ensure adequate coverage
  • Train new hires and provide ongoing training for team members
  • Prepare performance reports and present them to management
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve customer issues and improve service delivery

  • Minimum of 2 years of successful sales experience with an understanding and knowledge or produce food service or retail related products
  • Proficient PC skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Produce Pro, and common E Mail systems

Compensation:

  • $50,000/Year

Schedule:

  • 9:30am – 6:30pm (Monday – Friday) 
  • 40 hours per week

Physical Demands:

  • Stand or sit for long periods of time
