Sirna & Sons Produce, a fourth-generation family-run wholesale food distributor and a FreshEdge LLC company, is currently hiring non-CDL local drivers in Ravenna, OH. Our distribution network covers Ohio, Central Pennsylvania, and Northern West Virginia, providing fresh produce, dairy, and specialty items six days a week to various establishments such as restaurants, hotels, country clubs, schools, and institutions. Compensation:

• Starting Hourly Pay: $17 an hour
• Hourly Base Rate with 45-50 average hours per week
• Overtime is paid after 40 hours worked
• Additional Pay Incentives:
  • Safety Bonus: Eligible after 90 days

Home Time, Schedule & Route:

• Home Time: Home daily
• Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday
• Shift: 9:00am to finish (average 5:00pm) 
• Route: Local
• Duties: Deliver produce orders in a van | Various warehouse duties such as pulling orders, cleaning, assisting truck inspector | Moving trucks in yard | Box truck driving experience preferred but not required
• Level of Touch: Touch Freight, load & unload
  • Must be able to lift, push, and pull 50lbs with no assistance
  • Be able to use 2-wheel dolly

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must be an eligible For-Hire Driver or have a CDL D license or greater (no endorsement required)
  • Drivers with a CDL A, B or C may still apply
• At least 1 year of driving experience is preferred but not required
• DUI/DWI is eligible if over 5 years ago
• Carrier Safety Administration knowledge
• DOT physical examination and Pre-Employment Drug Test
• Speak and write English satisfactorily
• No more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years and proven safe PSP Score
• No more than 2 preventable accidents in the past 3 years
• Drivers must live within a 40-mile radius of Ravenna, OH, or be willing to relocate for a position
