Essential Functions:

  • Execute accurate and complete customer order fulfillment, quality product delivery, and departure expectations.
  • Research and resolve inbound and outbound delivery solutions.
  • Utilize the company ERP system to review customer orders and delivery route scheduling for improvement opportunities.
  • Regularly analyze and condense routes for more efficient deliveries.
  • Collaborate regularly with the Sales and Transportation teams to manage order change requests, delivery time change requests, and delivery fulfillment.
  • Collaborate with the Warehouse management team to monitor inventory levels, procure products from sister companies when needed, and manage the transfer of substitute products.

Competencies, Education, and Skills:

  • A minimum of an associate degree or a bachelor’s degree in related field preferred
  • Previous experience in refrigerated food manufacturing or distributor operation preferred
  • Proficient skills in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, Microsoft Office (particularly Excel), and common E Mail systems
  • Strong relationship and interpersonal skills

  • Change management and continuous improvement focus and skills
  • Critical thinker with strong problem-solving and research proficiencies
  • Strong organizational skills and detail oriented
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines

Physical Demands:

  • Stand or sit for long periods of time
  • Travel by auto or by flying commercial or privately as required
  • Work in cold and wet cooler conditions for extended periods of time
